Although the HOA may seem like a Big Brother when you want to change the appearance of yor home or cut down a tree, our Architectural Review Committee is actually a benefit. The HOA's design standards are based on visual harmony within the overall community as well as consideration for neighbors.
The ARC exists to maintain, protect, and enhance the value of your property as it strives for a balance between individual and community rights.
While you the homeowner have the biggest stake in the value of your home, mortgage lenders, home buyers, insurance companies, real estate professionals and the larger community in which we live all place a high value on a well maintained community.
The ARC can also address individual homeowner's complaints and concerns.
Be sure to consult the ARC if you are considering any type of exterior change to your unit which includes the yard and driveway, or if you just have a question or concern.
If you need to make an ARC application or need a copy of the HOA covenants, please email us at this site: askhoa@villageofclearwater.com.
The ARC makes every effort to respond to applications and questions fairly and quickly. (Some approvals can be given verbally.)
