BOARD MEETING JUNE 18, 2011
BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT: Crystal, Tony, Nancy, Elaine, and Debbie.
TREASURER'S REPORT: Eight homeowners still not paid. Tree budget has approximately $600 left for tree work.
ARCH: Three applications were approved. ARCH will require an application for adding gutters and down spouts to HMB homes. ARCh agreed to work with Maintenance committee: ARCH will grant a waiver of advance application for any homeowner who received a letter requiring maintenance of shutters, fences etc IF repainting is done in white. ARCH also agreed to follow up on homes that received letters.
LANDSCAPING: Mulch was spread. New red maple planted. Will purchase a water bag for it. Weeds at curbs were removed.
POOL: NEW RULE: Homeowners with delinquencies with HOA WILL NOT BE ALLOWED IN POOL EVEN AS GUEST OF ANOTHER HOMEOWNER. Motion apporoved.
PONDS: Ponds have low water levels; aerators will be shut off if water gets lower.
ROADS: Mike has request to re tar some cracks; after Labor Day. Will cost approx $5000, from reserves.
SOCIAL: Garage sale June 25th/
TREES: Lawson completed work. Will get estimate to remove dead trees at $#48 , weeping willow on pond #4 and over hanging Bradford pears on North Hampton Circle.
OLD BUSINESS: Tax Ditch: Steve reported that DNREC is working toward fixing erosion problems at Clearwater/Ocean Farms boundary. DNREC has a plan to restore ditch bank; they are waiting for funding to come through. When project begins we must give approval to DNREC to use waste area along Double Bridges for their staging area. Meanwhile we will continue with pipe cleaning at Oceanside and Oswego/Palo Verde.
At an interim meeting, approval was given for replacing windows and air conditioner in pool house and this work has been completed.
NEW BUSINESS: Street name signs to be replaced at EHampton, Palmetto; Highland; NHampton and Oceanside. Also we will request DEL Coop add new street light at end of Longboat.
Homeowners upset over maintenance fines per emails.
