UPDATE: There is now a recycling center on Route One, southbound side, just north of Fred Hudson Highway, north of Bethany. (There is U turn access also, if coming north on Route One from Bethany)
This is in addition to a center at Indian River Inlet, near marina.
Aluminum beverage cans can ALSO be recycled at Lion's Club drop off bins located at GROTTOS, FOOD LION, and in GIANT FOOD parking lot.All located on Route 26.
One liter plastic bottles can ALSO be returned to grocery stores and the five cent deposit will be redeemed.
Glass beer bottles can ALSO be returned, in the original containers, to liquor stores and the five cent deposit, per bottle, will be redeemed.(Note: most liquor stores will only redeem beer brands sold in their store.)
