Treasurers Report: Fran reported that 157 of 206 homeowners had paid the 2008 assessment, or 76%. Late notices will go out 3/17 with a penalty assessed. We now have a debit card linked to our checking account for HOA purchases . Our account access can be made online also to allow for better cash management.
Architectural Committee : Nancy reported that a neighbor had complained about tenants at a unit on Monterrey Avenue. The issue of dogs running loose and dog waste. The owners will be sent a letter and followed up a next meeting.
Also the long time issue of a homeowner not responding to HOA requests. The BOD will take this over from ARC.
Rudy will get estimates for patching/repainting tennis court.
The drainage problem at South Hampton has been resolved, although the problem of tenants draining paint into pond access must be addressed. A letter will be sent to owner. Possible DNREC issues.
Next the Newport Village drainage issue. but Gary of the Drainage project not in attendence.
Ponds:Envirotech is getting us a proposal for two new Aquamaster aerators. There is an issue about needing new electric outlets.
Lighting: New halogen bulbs put into front sign lights. Will investigate replacing units with non halogen fixtures to save money.
Pool: Marion (THANK YOU!) will again this year organize pool volunteers. Sign up day will be April 19th. Several new umbrellas have been budgetted to replace broken ones. Mike will organize pool cleaners. Pool will open weekend of May 24th.
