MINUTES BOARD MEETING APRIL 19, 2008

All members were present : Nancy, Joe, Elaine, Debbie, Tony, Rudy, Jim.

TREASURER'S REPORT: Thirty eight homeowners were in arrears for 2008 assessment. They will be charged a six percent late fee of $36. To date, $95,290 has been collected.

Nancy proposed a special assessment of $25 or so next year, for clean-up day, to hire an outside contractor to remove dead trees and vegetation and do the heavy work. As it is, the same volunteers are doing the heavy work and others are abusing the dumpster with junk.

ARCHITECTURE COMMITTEE: Some members of the committee are expressing frustration with the Board over not adequately enforcing covenants with ongoing violators. The committee is also discussing metal roof replacements in Half Moon Bay and whether different color metal roofs would be allowed. Current thinking is that neutral colors would be okay. Committee wants Board to address issue of fence along Double Bridges RD; to replace or repair. Also to consider installing a chain link fence between CW and Bethany Breeze. Also: Tom has replaced Frank on Committee.

LANDSCAPING: Delmarva Power cut down a line of leyland cypresses between CW and Bethany Breeze as the trees were too close to power lines. DP has the right of way and authority to do this. Mike to get estimates for chain link fencing in this area to deter trespassers.

OPEN DISCUSSION: Janet would like to help out with website. Mike suggested getting DEL COOP to install street light at pool, for security. Elaine wil contact COOP.
